Hilarious, thanks for that. I just discovered this blog by typing "English Catholics" as a search term--and I'm happy I did! I had to do a 4-page write up for a short Church History course and my chosen topic was the survival of the Faith under Elizabeth I & James I. I'm an American in Opus Dei and pray for the conversion of many Anglicans every day at Mass. Cheers and again, thanks for the nod at Lepanto! (Reminds one of GKC's ballad)
